Then came he out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Haran: and from thence, when his father was dead, [God] removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell: (ASV)

According to this verse, Gold told Abraham to move from Haran to Canaan after his father died. However, this contradicts the chronology of Genesis as follows:

Gen. 11:27: Terah is 70 when Abraham is born.
Gen. 12:4: Abraham is 75 and Terah is 145 when they leave Haran for Canaan.
Gen. 22:32: Terah dies in Haran at the age of 205.

Therefore, Terah lived in Haran for another 60 years after Abraham left for Canaan.
