Previous Verse < Genesis 1 > Next Verse

And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (ASV)

Pro

In this verse, the implication is that God created Adam and Eve simultaneously: male and female created he them. This is a direct contradiction of Genesis 2:22, in which God creates Eve after creating Adam.

Con

"God created male and female" does not implicate they were created simultaneously.
