JW: Per "Luke" "Mattatha" was Nathan's son. According to:

http://www.errancywiki.com/index.php/1_Kings_4:5

"and Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers; and Zabud the son of Nathan was chief minister, [and] the king`s friend; (ASV)"

Azariah and Zabud were sons of Nathan. It's likely this Nathan was David's son. It's possible though that Mattatha was a son of Nathan and just not one of the officials of Solomon identified in 1 Kings.

JW:

MENAN

The English:

"the son of Melea, the son of Menna, the son of Mattatha, the son of Nathan, the son of David," (ASV)

The Greek:

"??? ????? ??? ????? ??? ??????? ??? ????? ??? ?????"

"?????" (Menna), 4th word from the Left.

The Textual Variation:

WH - "?????"

TR - "??????"

The JW:

"?????" is the Transliteration for "Menna". "??????" is the Transliteration for "Mainan". Here there is no apparent reason for textual editing.

NATHAN

The Greek:

"??? ????? ??? ????? ??? ??????? ??? ????? ??? ?????"

"?????" (Natam), 3rd word from the Right.

The Textual Variation:

WH - "?????"

TR - "?????"

The JW:

"?????" is the Transliteration for "Natam". "?????" is the Transliteration for "Natan". " ????? " is the Hebrew (Natan). LXX is "?????".

DAVID

The Greek:

"??? ????? ??? ????? ??? ??????? ??? ????? ??? ?????"

"?????" (David), Last word on the Right.

The Textual Variation:

WH - "?????"

TR - "?????"

The JW:

"?????" is the Transliteration for "Dayid". "?????" is the Transliteration for "Dabid". " ?????? " is the Hebrew (Dahveed). LXX is "?????".
