JW:

The underlying Greek word for "charged" above is ?????????? which when used with a context of confrontation and forbidding is normally translated as "rebuke" which most English translations use when Jesus is addressing a Demon. The majority of English translations here avoid "rebuke" presumably to avoid the connection here between Jesus rebuking Demons and Jesus rebuking his Disciples. The context here isn't just similar it's exactly the same, rebuking Demons/Disciples from announcing Jesus as the Messiah. That is exactly why "Mark" used the same word.
