Though raised as a Christian, I don't recall ever believing that the Bible was literally true. And, like most Brits, I was unaware of the American "Young-Earth Creationist" phenomenon until a few years ago. It was through debating YEC's that I became more aware of the Bible's failings in other areas too. Even though I've been an atheist since the age of 10 or thereabouts, I hadn't realised just how much of it was essentially bunk (those of a delicate disposition can insert "symbolic" or "metaphorical" or "a product of its times"... whatever).

On inerrancy: online resources such as www.skepticsannotatedbible.com are fairly comprehensive, but I'd prefer something that can go into more depth, giving relevant background info (where appropriate) and answering likely apologetic responses.

Nice job Admining Robert. Is there a Way to remove the Drug Users from the Member Rolls? Peter and I intended EW to be an in Depth Resource for Errancy discussion. The beauty is you can keep Editing existing Arguments and make them Stronger. Elevate Polemic Arm...Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. Eventually EW will be a Formidable resource on answering Apologetics. Right now I Am Concentrating on The Genealogies in Tortuous Detail. What I would like to see more off is a Summarization of Key Points when References are made to Outside Articles.

We're getting some "invisible" spam which only shows up in Edit or History views (as I see you've noticed). I can't figure out what the point of it is, why post adverts that your prospective customers won't see?
