Previous Verse < Mark 14 > Next Verse

And they, when they heard it, were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently deliver him [unto them]. (ASV)



"Mark" gives no explicit reason why Judas betrayed Jesus. This verse is an implication that money was the reason. Per "Luke" the reason is because Satan made him do it, 22.3.
